Babes Ride Out in the UK X VC London X Triumph Motorcycles

 Riding out with 150 gals from London to South Wales for an all women motorcycle campout was an experience I won't forget any time soon.  When one of the sponsors (Triumph UK) asked me to document BRO.UK , I had already rented a Harley Davidson for the weekend which added a funny twist.  Not only had I never ridden a Harley before, but I hadn't ridden on the left side of the road before either. Here's an American girl riding an American bike though England shooting for a British Motorcycle Co. surrounded by a bunch of the raddest British gals -wasn't what I had planned & man, was it an epic journey!  

The weekend was full of gorgeous riding (we lucked out on the weather for sure), majestic camping outside of an 250+ year old barn, good fun, great bands, wild ponies, sheep everywhere, random ice cream trucks making for a perfect pit stop, oh and speaking of pits, we had some moshin' going on as well :), slow races, dirt biking, raffle prizes,(I WON! a sweet hand painted Biltwell helmet designed by the talented Sami Graystone),  s'mores, bon fires  & a whole bunch of amazing women riders on all types of bikes, all sorts of ages just having a good time.  Check out the two galleries below to see the fun.  

I 'm forever grateful to the VC gals, Gemma, Mai & Namin,  who hosted this event and took such great care of me from the minute I arrived.  Also, special thanks to the original Babes Ride Out founders and co-hosts, Anya & Ashmore for bringing me along for this incredible journey across the pond. (And of course my travel pal Lauren from Yellow 108 providing endless entertainment ;) Alex, Franzi, Anna, Kiki, Caylee & Dierdre for patiently touring me around London, Paul for the bike uber service,  Gez + Niki for taking in a total stranger for a few days, The Bike Shed for taking care of my bike, feeding me & allowing me to loiter around for hours ;),Rebels Alliance ,  & the Hoxton Hotel for the sweet accommodations as well as watching over all of my gear all week.  Plus Becca & Andy, at Vagabond Tattoo for the longest lasting memory of the weekend.
